We are running SAS 9.4 and Studio 3.8 desktop installs on Windows 10. For some reason SAS Studio has intermittent launching problems that are only resolved by a restart. In checking event viewer I see an Audit Failure for Studio - specifically "4673: A privileged service was called" when Studio fails to launch. Does anyone have any idea what is causing this failure? I know this may be more of a Windows issue versus SAS but I am thinking that if it were truly an issue with our GPO security settings for Studio I would expect it to never launch. EG 7.4 never has this issue, it is only Studio.

This type of problem is best progressed with SAS Tech Support if you haven't opened a track already.

The first step is to see the logs.
If you are the SAS Admin then do see the logs otherwise ask the SAS Admin to investigate.
