Hi Folks,

We expect to migrate our SAS Server. In the new environment, we'll have a different operating system and different number of compute nodes.

The metadata identifier for existing lib names will change after importing metadata definition on our new server? Is there any way to preserve the same identifier? We have some processes that use the following sentence to define libname:

libname MyLIB META libid=A5P3CAM2.BE0001VO METAOUT=DATA;

Regards,

Every metadata repository has it's own unique identifier and it cannot be retained (at-least in my knowledge).
