Well then, there si a firewall in between bloking your access. For sure.

If you don;t have clear what is bloking it, your can check your gateways, and intermediate nodes, including the client. Trace route should help to know the intermediate nodes.

I agree wih Juan the intial problem is that there isn't access to the ports needed from the client machine.

Once you've opened the ports, you can test from the client with the Integration Technologies Configuration
Wizard:

METADATA SERVER TEST:
---------------------------------------------------
- Select 'Start > Programs > SAS > Utilities > Integration Technologies Configuration'
- Test SAS Servers > Next
- Enter a SAS server definition manually > Next
- SAS Metadata Server > Select 'IOM BRIDGE' connection
- Enter the Fully qualified Server Name - Port (the default port # is 8561) - User's ID and PW
- Test Connection

If the Integration Technologies test fails, email the results to your existing track and we will diagnose
the error from there.

Thanks,
Casey
