I just finished an in place upgrade to SAS 9.4 M8 for a muti tiered windows environment. I was upgrading postgres and the deployment wizard is stuck at the last step for several minutes, even though every step was successful. Anyone has any idea what to do next? I know it is stuck because the dotted squares that show the progress is not moving.
Can you check if your anti-virus is completed disabled, the some of the Windows background process associate with your anti-virus can also cause the hold off of the installation, can you also check the following folders and all files in C:\Users\your-user-id\AppData\Local\SAS\SASDeploymentWizard.
Were you able to solve this? I am currently performing a multi-tier installation and am having the exact same issue? The "Install post processing" seems stuck, the dotted squares is doing nothing?
On top of this, you can always run the SDW with loglevel=2 to get additional info in your logs, it will tell you all you need to know in the logs
