We have installed SAS Office Analytics Platform Suite and be able to connect from EG and able to run programs on Linux using locally created accounts on Linux.  However, we are unable to create a profile in EG for the AD domain join accounts.  Wondering if anyone perform this kind of installation and integrated with AD accounts.

The ask is "how to setup or integrate AD accounts in EG and be able to create an EG profile".

I assume you are talking about the automating the synchronisation of AD accounts with SAS metadata. This SAS Note explains how this works: https://support.sas.com/kb/40/628.html

Any SAS user creating a connection profile in SAS EG needs to have a SAS metadata user identity which can be created manually using SAS Management Console or by importing these from AD as explained in the above link.

If you wish to sign into Linix using AD authentication, this need to be configured in Linux. Talk to your Linux admin/infrastructure team.
