We have been running in circles trying to get a solid install of SAS going in our environment, and we keep hitting the same roadblock, and the logs are really non-specific as to what the issue is.  It's on Stage 12: Load Content, on SAS Web Infrastructure Platform.  This is the area of the log when the error hits:

We've seen a few other posts, but solutions there are not applicable, and we've tried firewall issues, monitored authorization/authentication logs, tried simplifying passwords and still bupkis.

Appreciate any help and assistance the community might have.

Have you also tracked this to Tech Support? They are the best and quickest option for this type of problem.

That's the next stop but I was hoping someone ran across this and already knew a solution.

The log content provides is saying that when trying to run the task to load the content to the SAS Content Server, the task failed. It looks like it failed on the initial connection to the SAS Content Server rather than when actually loading any content. I would suspect then an issue with the SAS Content Server web application or one of its supporting services on SASServer1_1, or an issue with the Metadata Server, so I would check those logs for more information.

I am receiving similar error while installing M8. Do you have the solution?

The guidance for troubleshooting SAS Web Infrastructure Platform LoadContent and UpdateContent failures can be found here:  SAS Support - "An error occurred retrieving information for object type 50. . ." message occurs in t...

In the note, you will find several possible causes of the failure and troubleshooting tips including the logs you should review.  Also included are the logs that you will need to send to SAS Technical Support if you open a case.
