Hi,

Is there a way to generate a report out of SAS Business Data Network that would list out all the terms, term creation data, created by user, modified by user, terms count etc.? may be an excel or CSV or some other format?

Thanks in advance.

This seems like more of a usage question, so perhaps the BDN User’s Guide will help. If not, your best bet is to contact Tech Support. Best of luck to you!

Did you ever find an answer to your question?  I think I'm going to have trouble convincing managers that BDN is a good solution to documenting our business terms (I think it is), if there is no way to generate reports out of the data.  There must be a way to do this.

There's a section in the BDN User's Guide describing the procedure you can use to export terms to an XML file.  See page 52 of https://support.sas.com/documentation/cdl/en/dmbdnug/69815/PDF/default/dmbdnug.pdf.

Thanks Mark,
I saw that. Not very user friendly for presenting to executives and such. Is there a way to access the BDN definitions from a SAS VA Report. In other words, create a LASR table(s) from the contents of BDN?
Thanks for your help!
