Hello

After deployment default libraries are created that can be accessed from EG.

MAPS, MPASGFK, MAPSSAS, STP Samples how to remove those?

I found similar topic on this forum but solution did not work. I have not changed all sasv9 config files.

The sasv9 files located on SAS Meta and SAS App servers in \sas\SASHome\SASFoundation\9.4\nls\  u8,en,1d sub folders.

The following is at the bottom of the cofig files:

-MAPS !SASROOT\maps
-MAPSGFK !SASROOT\mapsgfk
-MAPSSAS !SASROOT\maps

Do I need to commented all 6 config files in all locations/servers using /*...*/? Also, the message in config files states -- do not edit below this line; is there a way to create separate user cfg files?

Similar with STP Samples where those are configured?

Thank you

If you don't use it at all, then I understand how you feel.

EG is running with SAS config loaded, so the only way to remove MAPS and other libraries is to edit the config.
Probably, the 6 files are for each encoding (en:English, u8:UTF-8, etc.).
You only need to edit the config file for the encoding you want to use.
If you make a backup, you don't need to worry about the editing itself.

Out of curiousity why would you want to suppress these libraries? They support things like zip code mapping or the creation of any sort of maps with SAS.

Thank you for your replies. In our environment, we do not or plan to use mapping, so those libraries just take up the space.
