We determined that a part of our user clientele should use only the Web interface using Chrome to work with our SAS Grid (version 9.4 M7).

The rest of our clientele is using Enterprise Guide and they use Personal Login Manager to change their passwords to access the external data sources.

In the case of the SAS Studio clientele, we can't provide them with Personal Login Manager because it is a Windows apps, Those users won't have access to any Windows application to access to the platform.

Is there a way to provide our SAS Studio users a means to manage their passwords? Is there something in SAS Studio or SAS Environment Manager they can use to manage their passwords?

Thanks.

The SAS Environment Manager's Administration tab allows you to modify the account tab like you would in SAS Management Console. This can be accessed directly at the endpoint http(s)://webhost:port/SASEnvironmentMgrMidTier

I have no detailed info on your environment. Depending on that, this can work. Consider employing Kerberos or the like for single-signon. This can allow your to authenticate in such a way that this will also allow access to other resources such as databases. There is some setup hardship and knowledge involved but once you have it going there is no beating this. It can work for both Studio and EG users. Personal Login Manager will be a thing of the past. And your users will thank you for that.
