You're on the wrong website. Put this question up in a IBM/AIX related forum, or simply call IBM technical support. TS is included with IBM/AIX maintenance contracts (and I know no site that runs an AIX server without one).

@Thambu,

If you are talking about PAM authentication in SAS, then you have to modify /etc/pam.conf as described in chapter "Configuring PAM Authentication for Use with sasauth" of Configuration Guide for SAS® 9.4 Foundation for UNIX Environments.

HI

Thank you for the response.

Are these 2 entries enough or is there anything else I need to add in the pam.conf file?

sasauth auth     required     pam_aix

sasauth account   required     pam_aix

Thank you

@Thambu,

In most cases should be enough.
