with the new features in WIN 2019 R2 server, and its UIP feature, has anyone UIP SAS 9.4 from Mx to latest, then perform OS update in place?  Good bad lesson learned?

Thank you in advance for sharing

I don't see any mention of Windows Server 2019 R2 as a supported OS for SAS 9.4

Windows Server 2019 is listed but not R2. Perhaps someone from SAS may care to comment.

In any event I don't think upgrading in place BOTH OS and SAS 9.4 would be recommended or possibly even feasible.

As far as I'm aware there's no 2019 R2. But 2019 is a supported platform for 9.4M6 and up according to the documentation. It looks like the next Windows server version will be 2022.
