Hi,

How can I migrate the data from SAS Viya server1 (v.03.04) to SAS Viya server2 (v.03.05)?

Both servers are running on Linux.

Thanks!

Lui

Since both servers run linux no conversion of SAS datasets is necessary so simple OS file copying is fine. Probably the most efficient way would be to use OS copy commands from folder shares set up on the new server but pointing at the old server.

Hi, thanks for your reply!

As I am new in SAS, May I know that such OS copy method can migrate the user's report? Can I use the native content and data import function from the SAS Environment Manager?

Thanks a lot!

How is the user's report created? From SAS programs, which are just text files, or by some other way? SAS programs can be copied by OS copy commands.

The user's report was created from the SAS GUI 'New Report' button
