Merge Multiple Grid environments into Single Grid

Hi All,

The requirement is to combine two SAS grid environments into a single environment across two departments.

current setup includes five physically segregated SAS grid environments across two departments

all new environments will run SAS version 9.4M8.

Could you please suggest or advice on the complexity/challenges in Merging the Grid and also How metadata can be handled in this Merge Scenario. 

is it possible to import/export metadata contents from two grid environments into new unified SAS grid environment’s Metadata? 

Will it work as expected or do we have any challenges in this. The main query we have is handling metadata in this scenario.

Kindly suggest the best practices and advice on this.
