Am installing SAS 9.3 on linux 64 bit. The server potion installed successfully, but during the middle tier install. I got the error below. This implementation is on a separate host from the server. Any ideas?

This installation is still in progress, where/how do l check if the content server is running? This is what l see on the application server side

$ ./sas.servers status

SAS servers status:

SAS Metadata Server 1 is UP

SAS Object Spawner 1 is UP

SAS CONNECT Spawner 1 is UP

SAS Framework Data Server 1 is UP

On the web server where am doing this installation is taking place is l see the SASContentServer is located here

serverxyz:/ecube/Lev1/AppData/SASContentServer/Repository>ls -l

total 20

drwxrwx--- 6 sassys sassys 4096 Nov 22 14:51 repository

-rw-rw---- 1 sassys sassys 5534 Nov 22 14:35 repository.xml

-rw-r--r-- 1 sassys sassys    0 Nov 22 14:51 SCSOK

drwxrwx--- 4 sassys sassys 4096 Nov 22 14:51 version

drwxrwx--- 3 sassys sassys 4096 Nov 22 14:51 workspaces

Thanks,

Naks

Not sure in a non windows env, have a look in you log location generally in SAS config location in ours it is "SAS\Config\Lev3\Web\Logs" and there is a contentserver log....

Now in saying this I could be sending you on a wild goose chase.... I Would call Tech Supp and they should be able to help you...
