Lag while selecting/deselecting columns in SAS Studio output dataset

Hi,

 

We recently installed SAS 9.4M8 on RHEL servers. We’re seeing noticeable lag/freezes when selecting or deselecting columns in output datasets via SAS Studio. SAS Technical Support provided a hotfix, but it only partially mitigated the issue.

 

Has anyone else observed similar behavior with 9.4M8 on RHEL?
What performance tuning or configuration changes helped?
Which SAS Studio component/service is responsible for rendering/managing output datasets?

Any pointers or best practices would be appreciated.
