I prefer to work in MacOS, but SAS obviously does not run natively on MacOS. So I have a windows laptop running SAS. I also have access to Studio and SAS command line on a cluster hosted by my university (Northwestern). Is it possible to connect the VSCode extension to either the Windows laptop (via ssh) or, preferably, to SAS running on the cluster? Most of what I've seen online assumes I am using VSCode on Windows.

Hi @brucelambert

Have a look at this link https://sassoftware.github.io/vscode-sas-extension/Configurations/ for some related instructions

Hope this helps

This link explicitly mentions SSH setup to access remote SAS servers from VSCode on Macs. The other option using IOM looks like it only works on Windows.
