You can install 32 or 64-bit SAS on Microsoft 64-bit Windows 7.

If you have licence for ACCESS to PC File Formats it is probably simpler to chose the same bitness as your Office installation.

Unless it's the education suite it can't be the windows personal version and you need administrator rights to do install.

Hi Reeza,

I have ordered Base SAS , SAS EG and SAS/STAT for company use. So,now installing it from fresh.

Previously i have SAS 9.3 on Window XP but will expire this month.

So,inquiring about prerequisites before installing.

I have one more question.

Can i update my window XP SAS 9.3 using the SAS 9.4 Licence (on window xp itself)?

Thanks!
