Install SAS Platform Web Services

Hi All,

We have installed SAS9.4M5 Grid server with LSF, Process manager and meta,grid and web nodes.

Could someone suggest how to install SAS Platform Web Services which is used for SAS Environment Manager.

We found the below link as reference.

But we were unable to see this product in the plan file.

Suggest how to install this.

Hello @Madhan_cog1 ,

I suspect that you, whomever created the initial plan file, or as per request to SAS Technical Support/Professional Services, the plan file has to be updated to include SAS Platform Web Services, as it needs to be installed (binaries) but also configured. 

Once you have the new plan file, you should be able to install the new binaries and update the configuration, by the usual means plus the indications described in the document you got on your hands.

Ours is a multi tier architecture (meta,Grid and Middle tier).

Should we install this in middle tier (Primary).
