Hi Everyone,

 

We are planning to upgrade our SAS system from M3 to M4. Could anyone please let us know the complete procedure and all the detail information?.

 

We are using Linux 64-bit for our SAS system and we have complete knowledge about our infrastructure, but we need to know how to proceed with the upgrade,.

- stop all SAS services and processes. This includes the SAS-supplied web and web application (tomcat) servers

- run setup.sh as the SAS install user from the SAS depot, select install software, and follow the prompts from there (the SDW recognizes it has newer software and proceeds automatically)

- if everything works as it should, the Deployment Manager should have started all your services when it finishes.
