Hello there.

I have SAS Viya 3.5 running on redhat 7 over multiple nodes and I would like to know how much cpu, ram, disk etc usage each user is, well, using.

So far I am able to list user activity using the SAS Environment Manager dashboard, however I could not find the information about resource usage information (cpu, ram, disk). Conversely I see multiple SYSTEM_* cas tables containing resource usage data but without user information.

Is there a way to do it? could someone please point me to the right direction?

Thank you.

I don't think that level of detail is available. The User Activity report you mentioned is what is available in Viya for user details based on audit records. As you mentioned the system tables that contain CPU/memory information are not broken out by user processes.

Hello,

I do not know the answer to your question, but are you sure the end-users have operating system accounts on the hosts where the SAS Compute Server is running?

In some SAS VIYA 3.5 environments the compute server account is a service account (like sassrv) and then you cannot differentiate between the end-users anymore.

For every user then:

%PUT &=sysuserid;
SYSUSERID=sassrv
