Hi Admins,

 

Has anyone  extracted SAS clients from a SAS SW depot?

 

If so please share How?

Depends on what you mean.

You can either install your clients directly from the depot.

Or you can create a new depot with a subset of the original depot.

@LinusH can share steps to Note when doing either of the above workaround as I mentioned have no idea to go about it.

For installing clients from the depot, you need to select "Install Additional Software" when prompted after starting SAS Deployment Wizard (setup.exe):

You should be able to subset the client products form the software depot.

In addition, SAS EG and SAS AMO are also available as stand alone installers. It should be possible to copy them from the depot and use.

If you are not familiar with installing SAS client software then I suggest you open a Tech Support track to guide you through what you want. Also you haven't explained the context of your question. Do you just want to do a single client install or do you want to subset your SAS software depot to do multiple client installs?
