Hi all,

 

We have implement Reverse Proxy solution for SAS Visual Analytics. Post that we are not able to locate SAS LASR Servers under Administration module. 

 

While we click on Lasr servers option in SAS VA we find below error. is there any solution for this problem ? logs (attached).

@alexal Hi ! Issue resolved. Thanks a lot for you support & efforts.

 

Basically two additional JVM parameters we had to add in server.sh file in all web servers.

It looks like you did change the internal connection for LASR Authorization Service. Am I right?

Yes ! We did change internal connection accordingly proxy host and Url.

Thanks for your quick response.

Before changing internal connection & any other changes in Lasr authentication service we were also facing the same issue but error box were containing some other error text.

 

Can you suggest how can we fix this.

I still believe that even that message is related to the internal connection of LASR Authorization Service that you have changed in the metadata.

We had raised a SAS Ticket for the same & set up the connection accordingly them. still the issue persist.

Sending you latest logs.

That track has been resolved because you rolled back your changes. As I said before, I'm pretty sure that the problems you have experienced with the LASR server related to the internal connection of the LASR Authorization Service. You aren't supposed to modify the internal connection.

Hi @alexal 

 

We are trying to implement that same post business hours. we got a new twist & tricky situation.

 

Interesting part is after log in to SAS VA we were not able to go to home page so we modified the SAS ADMINISTRATOR link and try to access SAS Environment manager , it worked & we got directly redirected to admin page where we were able to locate SAS LASR Servers & even servers got started.

 

For resolving home page error we went back into SAS SMC and checked Visual Analytics Home - External connection where we misspelled the host so we make it correct. 

 

after this change again we are not able to locate SAS LASR Servers in SAS VA. Please find error logs for your reference.

Are you sure that you have updated all properties for LASR Authorization Service in the metadata? There are at least three objects for LASR Authorization Service with internal/external connection information. That URL still doesn't seem like an internal URL.
