Error creating ODBC data source in SAS Viya 3.5 GUI

HI,

My platform is CentOS 7, with MySQL 8.0.22 , unixODBC 2.3.1 and MySQL Connector ODBC 8.0.22.

I can connect to the local MySQL DB without any problem with the isql.

However, I got an error while creating an ODBC data source entry in the Environment Manager, I have included the dm_unicode = utf16 parameter in the 'Advanced' page.  The error is as follows:

The connection to the data source driver failed.
ERROR: [unixODBC][Driver Manager]Data source name not found, and no default driver specified
Function failed.
The action stopped due to errors.

Any comment is appreciated.

Recommend you to follow this guide to build the latest unixODBC driver manager as per this SAS Communities How to guide.

The unixODBC version 2.3.1 is quite old.
