Ent Guide - Side by Side Install support

Hello,

Figured I'd post here quick - I couldn't find what I needed in the EG admin guide.

Can EG live side by side on a PC without issue (user issue that is). I ran a quick test that EG 8 will install without removing EG 7.

I didn't see anything in the admin guides that that is or isn't supported.

I have run EG 7.15 and 8.1 on the same PC for months without issue.

Yes. I have installed and use EG version 7.1 and 8.2 on the same machine.

I've had 4.3, 6.1, 7.15 and 8.1 concurrently installed. It was only the installation of the EG 8 beta-test that scrambled the languages of 7.15.

Depending on which version you want to be your primary EG app, you may need to change your Windows defaults so the correct EG version opens if you double-click a .sas, .egp, or .sas7bdat file.
