Hello,

I am currently working on an assignment and I am new to SAS Administration.

We have a Library containing encrypted tables.

We want to make the table available to a specific number of persons without them knowing the password.

Other than setting the password in the autoexec is there any others to achieve that?

The idea here is the password things should be transparent to the user.

Thanks and Best Regards,

Akshay

You have a SAS metadata environment? You might look into metadata-bound libraries, which allow you to restrict who can see the tables and disallows any access attempts that try to circumvent the metadata-provided access.  See this blog post for details.
