Dear All,
We are migrating sas 9.3 to 9.4. We already migrate all the data and catalog files. Now sas 9.3 is not in working anymore. But we left to copy few catalog files to 9.4.
Is there any way to migrate the catalog files to 9.4 if sas9.3 sas not working?

You need to find somebody who still has 9.3 on your old platform, so you can export the catalogs. But why not simply recreate the catalogs with the original codes?

If the SAS 9.3 catalog was created on the same operating system (i.e. Linux) as the SAS 9.4 you need to read it with, then it will work.
However, if the SAS 9.3 catalog was created on a Unix system (AIX, Solaris, HP-UX, ...) and you need to read it with SAS 9.4 on Linux, this will not work. It needs to be read with SAS on the same Unix system as it was created on, exported, and then imported in to SAS 9.4 on Linux.
Hope this helps.

@japsas100 - If the only reason SAS 9.3 is not working is the licence has expired, you could ask SAS for a temporary one just to transport the catalogs.
