Over the process of time, we couldn't keep our development environment in sync with production environment.

We are trying to sync them now. As a first step, we are trying to replicate the connectors in obdc.ini file of Development Environment with respect to the one in Production Environment.

Could someone tell me the other basic changes to check with respect to syncing both the environments ?

Hello @Sangavi,

I personally think your question is really generic and I am not able to help you really much. What SAS solution/s do you have installed?

What do you want to sync? Metadata, data, ...?

For the metadata, the promotion tools are your friends:

Using the Export SAS Package and Import SAS Package Wizardshttp://documentation.sas.com/?docsetId=bisag&docsetTarget=p1rpvy5m50aglkn1koi9dsbc3mpx.htm&docsetVer...

Promotion Details for Specific Object Typeshttp://documentation.sas.com/?docsetId=bisag&docsetTarget=n1f9181cn1d545n1odu6hkrrcee4.htm&docsetVer...

If you are looking for promoting other items, such as OS items, third party (ODBC and such), data, or config files... all of them are different stories.

And if you are looking for an answer for all of them... again, that is too broad, I think, for here, perhaps it would be better for you to get a consultant on site or call SAS so you can get the best support on this topic.

Hello @JuanS_OCS,

I am looking for sync with respect to configuration mostly. What are the basic config checks that we have to perform?

You may check your sasv9 file in SAS foundation, the usermods configuration files under SASApp (and subfolders) and the config (and setenv) files on your middle tier. And any other customization (static files on your content server, xml files etc etc). But, as you said, this is just the basics
