The comment and the attachment is subsequently not posted.  SAS Visual Analytics 6.4 or older (VA 5.1, 5.2, 6.1, 6.2, and 6.3) this is not the case.  It will upload the file and a user can execute this file.  However, there is a way to restrict users at the platform level from uploading these file types. There is no “set" limit per se on the amount of data that you can use in a report.  This strictly depends on how you scale out your hardware and how much data you choose to load in one given table in the LASR server.  However, there are cardinality limits on how much data you can render in a given control.  These limits are published on page 726 of the user guide http://support.sas.com/documentation/onlinedoc/va/.  Per control the documentation tells you the number of unique items you can render in a chart. I would have suggested using two graphs but you have clearly stated this is something that you wanted to avoid.  I don't think that you would be able to change the filter (One Filter) and in the right panel and have it work as you envisioned.  I think that in your use case you would have to either utilize two visualizations and have a data source filter.   Two charts is your best route.  We are exploring expanding our calculations in Visual Analytics and I appreciate the input on use cases.  As we expand this is a great use case for us to keep track of going forward.  Regards, Ted Werner ... In Version Visual Analytics 7.1, You will be able to use first and last function as part of the calculation editor.  This will be in Designer and Explorer.  You must have a by group otherwise it would have been a default aggregation.  Look for Visual Analytics 7.1 to release in October.  This will be in the calculation editor with more aggregated values as well.  More details to come. Currently we support use cases for Non Additive measures and Additive measures for Non additive measures we create non aggregated measures in the advanced calculation editor.  However, there is a greyed line for certain examples of semi additive measures.  You can create some measures that are "Semi" additive like via advanced calculations, but this is an area that we are looking into currently.  It would be of great help to me and the product itself if you could outline some use cases that way we can make sure to cover what you are looking for in calculations.  It is always possible that we could find a way to nail your use case now as well depending on the business problem you are trying to solve.  Regards, Ted Werner ... You have to use the external link for what you are trying to do.  You can't pass the parameters through the stored process control in Designer.  This may change going forward at some point, but currently this is the only way to do what you are looking for in terms of functionality. ... View more

Hello Keds, If you are using 6.4, you can use an external link and link to that stored process and specify the parameters that you are looking for to tie to the stored process.  Just an FYI if you use the stored process object in the report builder, it won't give you the results I perceive you are looking for.  I hope this helps.
