@ed_sas_member does that "dictionary.files" work if the files are csv files or do they need to be sas data sets. The reason I ask is that I am getting no observations (however the code executes successfully)

I'm sorry, yes I am running Windows. When I run that code it says that I have insufficient authorization to access PIPE. So unfortunately, that isn't working for me. Thank you though!

Hello everyone, I'm using Base SAS 9.4. I'm trying to import an Excel file into a SAS data set (which I know how to do). The problem is, there are hundreds of files in a folder and I need to import the file with the most recent Date Modified. If it helps at all, every file follows the same naming convention. Example: FileABCD_123456. The file with the maximum value of the six digits following the underscore is the file I want to import. Can anyone help? Much appreciated!! -Adam

I'm trying to build a filter within a crosstab to automatically filter the date. I have 14 months of data, Dec 16' - Jan 18', but I only want to show data from 4 months ago (This month that would be Oct. 17'). My data set updates each month by rolling forward one month (e.g. my next data set will have dates raning from 1/1/17 - 2/28/18) and I will need the filter to grab data from Nov. 17' only. I currently have this as the syntax of the filter but it is not working correctly. DatePart(AppVintage) = DateFromMDY(( Month(DatePart(Now())) - 4 ), 1, Year(DatePart(Now()))) The format of the date field (AppVintage) is DATETIME22.3 Can someone help me with this issue? Thanks! Thanks Art. Yes, I incorrectly stated my intentions. I want to delete marketers within companies. E.g. each company has multiple marketer codes. Example: Obs | Company | Marketer 1 |A | 001 2 |A | 002 3 |A | 003 4 |A | 004 Marketer codes 002 and 004 are inactive so I want to delete observations 2 and 4 when merging in that data step. I have two data sets. Data set A contains all of my data. Data set B includes company codes that I want to delete from data set A. What I want to do is, If company code exists in data set B then delete all observations in data set A that have the same company code. Here is what I have so far, but I know my if statement within the merge is incorrect. If not, how would one modify this code to work in proc sql?
