Hi, everyone! I am sort of self learning to use SAS and hopefully everyone can give me some advice to address my questions. My one-year data set has these fields: hospital id, hospital name, state, city, race/ethnicity, sex, number of cases, mean LOS, primary payer, and so on. I actually want to map the average LOS overall in each state, and then stratified by race/ethnicity in each state. Hi! I have a survey sample with complex sampling design. So suppose I have to use commands like "proc surveyfreq" to get estimates. However, the dependent variable of interest is a dichotomous indicator reflecting rare events (e.g. smoking). For example, only 20 of 20000 students are smokers. I want to see how other factors (e.g. gender) influence the likelihood of being a smoker. Is there any method to deal with this kind of data? If yes, any special issue I should pay attention to? Hi! I am trying to create 7 new data sets from 2004 to 2010. Then I hope to merge them into one. The result for the first data (i.e. 2004) is fine. But from 2005, the log shows weird results as the attachment.
