Thank You guys for your inputs. The issue was with one of the source data tables being used in processing that was assumed to be static, but actually got updated on daily basis at later point of time and hence the entire DI job needed to be scheduled later after all the tables used as source datasets were updated and ready to be used. Hello Patrick, You summarized the issue correctly. Can you elaborate more on the ENVIRONMENT point. To compare source data when scheduled job uses it as against when DI job uses it is very complex, but since its my first time attempting to use PROC COMPARE, I will ne judicious about any differences that I may see with source data. What kind of environment variables may be coming into play during this batch vs workspace session? Where do I look for these settings? Also in the VERSION section, can you be specific what you are hinting by saying latest version? You mean latest version of code in DI job? I can assure you that the code in SAS EG, manually run DI job and that of scheduled job is exactly same. So my gut feeling is that it is either timing issue because the variance is not much, environment variables as picture may change for batch sessions. Thanks for all your inputs. Hello SAS EG Users, I have DI job that is created by exporting code in SAS EG. This job is meant to mine all the data and create one observation and update six different tables. Attached is the code for the DI Job. When this job is run manually, it gives correct output and it matches perfectly with that of SAS EG. However when this job is scheduled to run on two dependencies, which is basically the source tables are ready and at 5:01 am it generates slightly different data. However it should match exactly with that of output of SAS EG, but in reality the output does not match exactly. Can you explain this behavior? What might be resulting in this discrepency. I am also attaching excel workbook that pretty much explains the monitoring that I have been doing for last one week, when there are some days when the output of scheduled DI job matches exactly the output of SAS EG project and some days when there is slight variance. Please check the pink worksheets that are named as EM_*_F. Let me also mention that the source tables for this job is snapshot and not live production data that changes from time to time. Hello SAS EG Users, What is the best way to count number of observations in SAS dataset, when it shows question mark while scrolling from top to bottom in tooltip that generally says "x of y" where y represents total number of observations in dataset. Proc SQL; Select count(*) from WORK.<datasetname>; quit; Can above code be used or does it need some modifications? I haven't used PROC SQL in a while Thanks, Dhanashree

Does Task Flow handle any / all nodes used in process flow like query? It just shows Transpose template as an option. My basic goal is to use already created ten Ordered Lists to generate code that can be scheduled on our SAS server to run daily and totally avoid worrying about where and how the nodes are placed on process flow canvas. That will eliminate the painstaking effort of re-arranging the nodes so that they run in correct order. I don't believe we have license to Load Sharing Facility so that is out of question. I mentioned DI Studio because we already run scheduled jobs that were created by ex-SAS engineers from SAS EG projects. I haven't spent time reverse engineering that process yet, hence the dilemma. Hello EG Users, I am using Ordered List for purpose of seggregating various portions of nodes in my SAS EG project, so that I can be sure that temporary datasets get populated in proper order and not run into error while generating final reports. Eventually, I intend to created scheduled job to run this SAS EG project. There are two ways to handle this: 1) Convert code to stored process and create scheduled job via SAS EG 2) Export code to DI Studio and run it on schedule on SAS server My confusion is with understanding if Ordered List can be directly used to convert code into stored process and then scheduled job? Or I have to make sure that the x & y co-ordinates of nodes in question is up-to-the-mark so that the code generated in appropriate? Thanks, Dhanashree

Hello EG Users, I am using proc gplot to generate line graphs that look completely fine inside SAS EG. I view them as SAS Report and use ods html and pdf as well. Since I intend to save the html on local drive so that it can be uploaded on our company's intranet later, I open the html version and use: EXPORT EXPORT D:\SAS\...\sashtml14.htm (Please check attached Graph-export-option.png) That successfully saves the html. However when I try to view this page in any of the popular browsers like Internet Explorer, Firefox, the graphics for graph goes missing. Instead there is just red x mark that shows up. (Please check attached graph-missing.png) The actual graph is looks like this inside of html ods in SAS EG. Please check attached graph-SASEGhtml.png Am I missing something? How do I save the output from html ods so that the picture shows up correctly? Input will be greatly appreicted. Thanks, Dhanashree

Hello EG Users, I am generating simple PDF report that has numerical matrix and plot. I want to fit all this data on one single page, just the way it has been generated in microsoft excel so far. I read about STARTPAGE option available for ODS PDF statement: ods pdf startpage=OFF style=sasweb ; I tried NEVER, NO values, but yet the pdf file has two pages, one for numerical matrix and other for plot. I would appreciate suggestions on how to go about fitting everything on one page. Thanks, Dhanashree

Hello EG USers, Can somebody help me figure out where and how I can upload the image files so that my PROC REPORT can use it in preimage option to show up on the report. I use Enterprise Guide and I am confused where the image should physically reside and how it will be accessible to the proc. WIll it be on same folder as .egp and just use windows explorer to load it there? or it has to be uploaded with SAS EG? Thanks, Dhanashree
