John Stultz is a Government Fraud Solutions Specialist for the Security Intelligence practice at SAS. In his current role, John is assisting field support and product direction in applying SAS’ fraud detection and prevention capabilities within the government market. With a 25 year career background as a statistician and SAS user and 19 years at SAS, John has worked in various sales, management and technical roles. He has experience applying SAS technology to help the federal government, banking, insurance and health care improve their techniques for detecting fraud and mitigating risk. His prior efforts have included implementing architectures to deploy comprehensive data pre-processing, data validation and data management strategies that support the fusion of data and the ability to use advanced analytics to detect fraud. His expertise in the area of unstructured textual data analysis has been leveraged to gain insights from unstructured textual content. He has authored a best practice paper on data preparation and presented at industry events. John holds a Masters in Public Health degree from Tulane University’s School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine and resides in Reston, VA.
