Hi,
I have a question about generating a customer ID to Excel. Please take a look of the following example.
Data Customer;
Input Cust_ID $5. Deposite;
Cards;
00155 200
00166 400
;
Ods listing close;
Ods html body = “D:\MyFolder\CustList.xls”;
Proc print data = Customer noobs; Run;
Ods html close;
Ods listing;
As shown in Excel report, the Cust_ID becomes only 3 digits number (e.g. 155, 166…).
How can we avoid this format issue when exporting the dataset into Excel?
Thanks for your answer.

Hi,
There are several SAS programmes that I need to run each month. I was wondering whether SAS system can run those programmes automatically rather than manually in each month.
Thanks for your response!

Hi,
I have created a regression model via Proc Reg. From what I knew, we can output the residual, predicted values,... via the keywords of R, PREDICTED,... respectively.
Are there any keywords so that we can output / use the estimated parameters of the regression model for other purposes?
Any advice you can give would be appreciated!
Thanks,

Hi,
When exporting some data with string format (like 00021, 00005,...) to Excel or CSV via PROC EXPORT, the output file always converts the described data into numeric format (like 21, 5,...) automatically.
Could you please let me know whether there are some methods to export the described data to Excel or CSV file with corrected format??
Appreciate your advice!

From what I knew, to create a self-defined format with overlapping ranges (multilabel formats), we can use the MULTILABEL option in the VALUE statement in PROC FORMAT.
However, the multilabel formats can only apply on the three procedures namely PRCO TABULATE, PROC MEANS and PROC SUMMARY (NOT INCLUDE PROC REPORT).
I was wondering whether there are some ways or options that the multilabel formats can be applied in PROC REPORT.
Any advice you can give would be appreciated!

Thanks for your advice first, but can you show me an example to demonstrate the use of "Proc Printto" as I am not familiar with this procedure?
Thanks!

After executing a SAS program, I was wondering whether we can export the SAS log to a specific folder automatically via a SAS procedure or else instead of just clicking the “Save As” manually.
Thanks for your response in advance!
