Problem to open SAS E-miner locally

  Hi,   My question is related to opening SAS E-miner, hopefully I'm in the right board 🙂  I've installed SAS E-miner locally on my PC and trying to open it but getting the following error:   The application has encountered an unexpected problem with the selected SAS environment. Please contact your administrator for assistance. I've checked the sassw.config and changed the URL to : SASENVIRONMENTSURL=http://abcd.dmn.com:7980/sas/sas-environment.xml but still getting the same error. The java version is 1.7.   Any idea what could be the problem? ... No, Base SAS was not included in this depot(in M2) and niether in the new one that I created for M4. I only selected Windows and Unix OS and not all languages(only three).     ... View more

Thank you @Damofor your reply. I could create the depot without Base SAS , but the new depot is only 4 GB. The depot we have for SAS9.4M2 is 11 GB. Is it something that  should be considered?( I selected the same products we have in M2 depot for M4)   ... View more

Checked LD_LIBRARY_PATH line and they are exactly the same in test and prod. The differences which are in test och prod is related to a system that has not been set up in prod and is not related to this issue. ... View more

  If I understand there is no way to connect to OLAP server  by SAS code in SAS EG and it could be done only in Base SAS with OLE DB provider. @ChrisBrooks , you wrote: "...if you're using EG you don't connect to the server that way."    What do you mean by that?
