Hi....I am trying to create a pdf file and when the program has finished running, there is no ouput or the file hasn't been created. I inserted a RUN Statement as suggested in the log and it still won't create the file......any suggestions how to correct this...Thanks 1012 QUIT; 1013 RUN; 1014 ODS PDF CLOSE; NOTE: ODS PDF printed no output. Hi Xia Keshan....I am using style=journal. I would like to insert a line across the page that would separate the Titles from the Table. I am wondering would I have to use the BORDERBOTTOM?

Hi Cynthia......Thank you so much. I tried something similar to your example but am still having problems with including a macro variable (for example, &rundate that I had defined) with either the title or footnote statements. I don't believe I enclosed the macro variable in double quotes but will try that and see if that resolves the problem. One other think, is it possible to insert a line after title3 and above the first footnote.

Hi....I am trying to create a report in pdf and proc report to generated the data and table for the output. I have attached a word document on how I would like each page to look like and having difficulty in inserting the title, footnote and repeated header on top of each page. Any suggestions and help would be greatly appreciated.....Thanks

Hi Cynthia...Thank you for your help and suggestions. I ended up having to use the Month Number Approach as I tried the Dateval Approach and kept getting an error message that the Dateval needs to be character format. The Month Number approach works perfect...thanks once again for your help.

The claim date, along with the variables Group and Product Number as well other variables are on another dataset named ClaimData. The ClaimData is the large dataset that I want to select a subset from based on only if the Group, Product Number match from the list above and the Claim Date Must be greater than 'Date As Of' variable.

Hi...I tried your suggestion of inserting blanks before the actual months and didn't seem to work. I ended up creating another column with the Month Number and sorted by this column and this seems to work but now I have both the Months and Month Number included in my table and excel file. If I exclude the Month Number from being displayed in the table and excel file, the Output Table that is created in SAS looks fine but when it exports it to Excel, some of the months are re-arranged.

Hi....I am having some difficulities using Proc Report to create a report. I have the dataset sorted and in the everything is exactly how I would like it to appear in a report. However, when the report is created, the some of the rows change their order based on 'Month'. I tried a few things and can't seem to resolve this problem. Does anyone know what I need to do to keep this from happening. Thanks. Hi....When I am editing the code whereby I copy a section and right click my mouse to paste the selected section, my mouse pointer changes to a solid black triangle pointing upward and a solid triangle pointing downward with a cirlce in between them and the screen to tends to move or scroll up and down. Is there a setting to prevent this...Thanks.

Hi RW9, Thanks for your help.....I was able to resolve the problem by modifying the Replic5 dataset fby adjusting the minimum and maximum unit prices first before the sub query. I t works perfectly.

Hi, I am assigning a Preclus number from a dataset named Replic5 to the records in a second dataset named Summary34 where the unit price is betweeen the minimum and maximum unit prices on table Replic5. I am using the following procedure: PROC SQL NOPRINT; CREATE TABLE SUMMARY34A AS SELECT SUMMARY34.*, (SELECT REPLIC5.PRECLUS FROM WORK.REPLIC5 WHERE SUMMARY34.UNIT_PRICE BETWEEN REPLIC5.MINIMUM_UNIT_PRICE AND REPLIC5.MAXIMUM_UNIT_PRICE) AS PRECLUS FROM WORK.SUMMARY34, WORK.REPLIC5; QUIT; It seems to work fine but unfortunately there are some unit prices that fall outside any of the ranges. Is there a way that when the unit price is Not within the minimum and maximum unit prices, that the Preclus number that is selected where the unit price is the closest to either the minimum unit price or manximum unit price.
