Hi SAS Friends,  Need to import and analyze hundreds of .csv files that contain environmental data. a sample has been uploaded here  Because there are so many, individually saving them as a .xlsx file for import seems impractical, which is how many SAS programmers handle this. The first 13 lines of data are not needed.  line 14 has the column header information, and then each line thereafter has data in rows, and the data structure is straight forward. Hi Folks,  Can anyone recommend a detailed tutorial or reference(s) for ODS Layout for SAS v9.4?  There is not much available online (tip sheet is sparse), and there are just a few online papers / presentations which don't have much detail, and describe ODS LAYOUT as an experiment/prototype in process (so maybe I shouldn't be using it if application is complex?).  Am trying to create a multipage PDF output that is part fill in form and part data tables. Hi SAS Friends,  Need some help with a Proc SQL merge, believe this is a "many to many" merge.   Attached is the sample code and desired output, have also pasted it below:   data COLORS; input color $10. ; datalines ; red purple green blue ; run; data Storys ; input ID $2. Fruit_Storys $45. ; datalines ; 1 red delicious apples are the prode of NY 2 the sweet fuscia parsimmons are too ripe 3 yellow and blue gala apples are superb 4 granny apples are green and lean 5 sour grey raisins are never chosen : run ; /*...DESIRED OUTPUT...*/ ID Fruit_Storys color 1 red delicious apples are the prode of NY red 3 yellow and blue gala apples are superb blue 4 granny apples are green and lean green What needs to happen is that in the STORYS data set, for the variable "Fruit_Storys" , the listed substrings from the COLORS data set variable :color" are searched for.  If not present the row is ignored.  If one of the color variables is present the row is retained, and also in the output the identified "colors" variable is listed in the column "color" .  Also the ID variable from the  "Fruit_Storys" data set is carried along.   I suppose this is a walk in the park for an experienced PROC SQL maven, and would greatly appreciate an answer with functional code.   Thanks as always, much appreciated  Robert  ... Hi SAS Community, Am wondering if there is a SAS procedure (PROC DOCUMENTS?) that permits an existing .PDF document to be incorporated into a PDF file generated by SAS. The SAS PDF files we use are generated using ODS, but using an additional procedure like PROC DOCUMENTS would be fine. The background is we use SAS to generate our weekly task lists and schedules, in one master PDF document generated within ODS. Would like to add in existing PDF documents into the output (reference articles, training materials, ect...). In PROC DOCUMENTS, looks like one can import a .txt file into the output, but see nothing about importing a .PDF file. HI SAS friends, Am using SAS ver 9.4. Need your help and expertise setting up text searching and selection. There are two sample datasets below. The dataset COLORS, has the colors terms that need to be searched for. In the dataset HAVE, there are two columns (apples , heroes). Need to identify those rows in HAVE where one of the colors is mentioned at least once. Need to search the two columns, Apples and Heroes, for any instance of one of the colors. Some rows will be completely excluded.  Some rows may have a color of interest mentioned more than once. I'd guess this involves Do Loops, probably one per column of interest (Apples, Heros), but beyond am not sure what to do next. Thanks for your suggestions, much appreciated.
