Hi Darrell, Thank you for the suggestions. But I do have one small doubt, that if I create maps with drill down functionalities using GMAP. Can I use them in VA having interaction with other report object in VA i.e. like clicking on a single state in map (in VA) will filter the data in cross tab (report object in VA) and display only the data of the selected "state" in map. Thank you Darrell for the prompt reply. I mean the background of the open street map. can you please help me if there is any work around for this: As I can not use the bubble map on top of open street background map, as it is showing different boundaries as accepted by INDIAN Governmnet. I have to implement the map in VA to show the location which will have the interaction with other report object too in VA and the map should have the facilities of drill down i.e. state-->districts-->sub_districts. I do have the shape files for all the locations which i want to use in my project, but the problem which I am facing is that if I create the map using GMAP etc.. . How can i be able to drill down through it as well as how to have interaction of map with other report object in SAS VA if at all I am importing the created map using stored process in VA. Hi All, Can somebody please guide me on how to change the boundaryof country/state as shown in open street map. As specifically for INDIA, the J&K state dosent show the POK as part of INDIA (J&K State) but as per Indian governmnet directions all the maps which are used should be as per the governmnet accepeted map where Indian Government shows POK as part of India in its Map and they have also given directions that heavy plenty will be imposed if the maps differ. Can somebody please help me how to achieve this. I want to use the map in VA, which will have interactions with other object in the report, so I suppose creating the map using GMAP and using it as stored process in VA will not suffice the need. Hi Diane, When we have more values in a category to be displayed in a bar chart, it doses not displays all the values instead it only shows some values unless and untill we zoom on the scroller. The best solution what i can suggest is to use the "Vertical Bar Chart" with the options "Rotate Value Label" and "Show Overview axis" selected. Thanks & Regards, Abhishek Pathak

Hi All, Can somebody please let me know that if it is feasible to have 32GB of RAM per core for SAS Visual Analytics, whereas SAS Reccomends 16GB of RAM per core. I would like to know if at all can I allocate 32GB of RAM per core for VA, does it voilate any licensecing agreement of SAS? i.e. License we are having for SAS VA (8 Core License): 8 Core * 16GB RAM= 128GB RAM(SAS Recommends) whereas, I want to have 8 Core * 32 GB RAM= 256 GB RAM. I can not find any document by SAS where they are restricting the user to have more RAM than recommended by SAS. Any help is really appreciated. Thanks & Regards, Abhishek Pathak

Hi Vall, There are lot of SAS Component that can be used to build the entire project, but again it depends on the requirement of client that exists. The environment that has to be created/ project that has to be completed decides various SAS component that has to be included. e.g. VA can be used for reporting purpose EG can be used for data messaging and various other activities Content Catagorization tool can be used for categorization of the text... Forecast Server/Desktop can be used to do forecasting Visual Statistics can be used for doing various stats activites EMiner, DI etc etc for various other activities Thanks & Regards, Abhishek

Thank you Bruno fot the prompt reply and solution too....The only way to get the heading of the column as desired is to add up the new rows in the dataset itself which is again a very huge process and makes the table unneccessarly big. Thanks & Regards, Abhishek Pathak

Hi, I would request you to stop all the "SAS Services" first and then try to restart them in some fixed order which can be found in document below SAS(R) 9.4 Intelligence Platform: System Administration Guide, Fourth Edition . Hi Teresa, ya you are correct, I didn't thought in this way that if we apply ranking to a particular object, it will be normalized and applied to whole group. The only way right now which I can think is to have 4 different bar charts, each filtered by quarter i.e. first bar chart will show only quarter one, second bar chart as quarter 2 etc... and each bar graph ranked as top 3 or 4 . Or the other way around is my first reply. If I will get the solution to the actual output what you want, definitely I will let you know Regards, Abhishek

Hi Teresa, I haven't tried but same approach should work for it too.... Assign "Quarter" as the "category" and "Sales" as "Group" category for bar chart. Use the top 3 ranking on the "Sales" Category by "Measure" assigned to bar chart. Give it a try and please let us know weather it works or not. Thanks & Regards, Abhishek
