Agenda
  • Exploring Human Bias in AI - Jim Box, SAS

As AI and Machine Learning become more utilized in all aspects of our lives, it’s important to take a step back and understand how human biases can affect the results of these systems.  In this talk we will look at the three main sources of biases and explore how to identify and address them, both from a systemic approach and a mathematical perspective.

Jim Box is a Data Scientist at SAS, where he has been supporting Life Sciences organizations for the past 12 years.  Prior to that, he spent 20 years in the industry as a Statistician, SAS Programmer, and Clinical Data Manager.
