I'm using the SPP procedure to test for Complete Spatial Randomness.  The procedure appears to require a rectangular area for analysis but I would prefer to test for CSR over a circular region.  Is this possible and, if so, how?

Thanks,

For mapped point patterns, PROC SPP does not support circles or other arbitrarily shaped regions. However, if you had a spatial point pattern and you did not give any boundary specification, PROC SPP 'estimates' a boundary using the Ripley-Rasson estimator. However, the starting point for the Ripley-Rasson estimator is also a rectangle.

What is ANOVA?

ANOVA, or Analysis Of Variance, is used to compare the averages or means of two or more populations to better understand how they differ. Watch this tutorial for more.
