Advice while choosing between SAS VA(Viya) and Power BI.

Hi, I have been working with SAS Viya for the past 6 six months. While the system is fast and intuitive, it is really expensive and I have to rely on client's machine even for learning. Now my employer has decided to also include Azure and Power BI. Power BI desktop is free for desktop. What are the pros and cons of Power BI against SAS Viya ?

So what would be your criteria for choosing between SAS VA and PowerBI? If this is just a personal choice I would choose the one I have experience with and can use very well. I've tinkered a little bit with PowerBI and it is for sure a very good visualisation tool. However I don't know it well so I would always choose SAS because of my expertise in that product. I want to avoid the PowerBI learning curve unless I'm told I need to learn it 😉
