SAS Viya Copilot for Information Catalog adds conversational, AI assisted discovery to help you search, understand and explore metadata using natural language, making it easier to find and trust the right data across the organization.

The option table control in SAS Studio now lets you link an option table to a column selector control, so the selected columns dynamically define the number of rows in the option table – making step and task options easier to manage and understand.
Quick tip: When creating a search query in SAS Information Catalog, you can use free text search. However, for large data estates, it’s often more efficient to use facets.
Facets allow you to restrict searches to specific metadata attributes, such as the library or description. Using the plus sign (+), you can also chain multiple facets together with AND conditions; if you omit the plus sign, the facets are combined using OR conditions.
Nearly 200 sessions are now available on demand in the Innovate Hub.
