For table assets, the new Preview Data tab replaces the Sample Data tab. The new Preview Data tab provides improved performance for large tables, can display up to 5,000 rows of sample data, and enables you to select and copy values from the preview table.

Use Case
The newly added SAS/ACCESS interface to DuckDB brings the power of the high-performance, in-process analytical database directly into SAS Viya. By leveraging the familiar LIBNAME statement, data professionals can now seamlessly connect to DuckDB instances residing on popular cloud storage platforms like Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Storage or Microsoft Azure. This feature unlocks easy access to Parquet, Delta, Iceberg and other file formats.
