Parameter in IF statements.

I have created an If statement where by if a particular argument date is met i have applied a parameter for the calc, however the calc does not work on the change of the parameter as i would expect for it to reflect i have to refresh the data set any advice?  I am using SAS VA 9.3.

What is it that you want to achieve?

As what I know the latest release of VA is 7.4 (standard) and 8.2 (viya)....:)
