I have a report based on two databases with a common field, and I don't want to join them.

I would like to insert a filter object on level report based on the common field.

Is it possibile?

Hey @KOKIUSMAT! You sure can. This is called data mapping in Visual Analytics. If you have multiple data sources with identical columns that you would like to have interact with each other, you can map them together. To do this:

  1. Add the two tables to a Visual Analytics report
  2. In the Data Pane, select the Data source menu and click "Map data..."

  3. Click "Enable data mapping" for each data source and add columns to map using the + button. Visual Analytics will automatically map same-named columns for you. These columns can interact with each other in filters, actions, etc.
