Hi ,

We have a Single machine 9.4 M5 with Visual Analytics as a solution. The Available RAM memory is 240 GB. The memory is getting occupied,whenever users load tables to LASR causing it to trip.

Is there any solution so that we can avoid it from tripping ?

Hi!

Which version of VA are you using - 7.4??

How big are the tables your users are trying to load?

What exactly do you meen with tripping?

The VA version is 7.4. There are many tables of various sizes which the user loads. So Let's say suppose we have 240 GB memory and user keep on loading tables without taking into consideration the available memory which thereby leads to cross the memory limit and LASR server stops and again need to load the tables again which is cumbersome task.

If we have a solution as to when a user try loading above the threshold vale, it shouldn't allow them to load.. let me know your views

@ssagar1 ,

If you are talking about a non-distributed LASR server, then you have to set the desired MEMSIZE for the SAS session which starts the LASR server. Sounds like you have "MEMSIZE 0" right now...
