Scientists carefully monitor the events in Iceland right now. With more than 30 active volcanic systems, Iceland host the highest number of volcanos in Europe. The country has been shaken by more than 2,000 small earthquakes in the past few days, prompting fears that the tremors could disrupt the Fagradalsfjall volcano on the Reykjanes peninsula in the southwest of the country.
This SAS Visual Analytics report show the most recent recorded earthquakes as per November 13th, 2023. Amazing the level of details and data available to monitor such events.
