The biggest driver agriculture, causes forests to be cleared for growing crops, raising livestock or producing products. Satellite data shows that almost half of todays tropical deforestation happens in Brazil and Indonesia.

This SAS Visual Analytics report analyzes data from United Nations (FAO) as well as The World Bank Open Data to show the global impact on deforestation for selected countries, it's total and annual tree cover loss as well as countries main drivers.
