Hello,

I got an error message from proc varclus and it says "WARNING: Iteration limit exceeded in search phase". What should do with it? May I ignore it? Thanks.

proc varclus data=data maxeigen=1 short hi ;

var &var;

run;

The MAXSEARCH option can be used to specify the number of iteration in the search phase. The default is 1000 divide by the number of variables. If you have a large number of variables (hidden by your macro variables) you may have a small number of iteration available. If this is the case then specify a value of maxsearh or reduce the number of variables.
