  1. Analyses in the actual Framingham Heart Study involved the variable body mass index, which is calculated as a function of body weight in kg and height in cm. Currently, Height is measured in inches. Let’s create a new variable to convert Height to centimeters. Note: 1in equals 2.54cm.

 

The Transform Data task in the Tasks >> Data menu creates new variables that are transformations of existing variables.

 

Double click the Transform Data task. Under Data, select the DEMO.MYHEART dataset that you created with Recode Ranges task

* I need help with finding the transform data . Since me task and utillites menu is not showing. Thank you.

In SAS Studio, select the More Application Options Icon:

Then select View, make sure Tasks & Utilities is checked.
