Hi,

 

While executing ALM (Asset & Liability Management) cashflow analysis in SAS IRM 3.6, we are repeatedly getting the generic error-

"An error occurred on the server. Please contact your system administrator"

 

Also, in many times with same data enrichment is failing-

1. We tried with subset of input data which earlier run successfully, but it failed.

2. Same, is the story even in case of super set of input data.

 

Even once the error occurs, creation new instance gives the following error-

"An error occurred retrieving required information from the server"

 

Any suggestions on this issue? We have tried restart of Web server instance to resolve this, it sometime work & sometime doesn't.

This is very much a specialist SAS software product so any issues would be best tracked to SAS Tech Support.

Just one thing I know here: If you've got issues with IRM requiring a server restart then the server to restart is SAS Server 8 and not SAS Server 12 (the web server).

The detailed error for "An error occurred on the server. Please contact your system administrator" can be found in SASIRMServer.log file. Please look there for possible issues.
